About Us
The Village Winery was founded in 1973 by Don and Eunice Krauss. In our first years of operation, we produced Grape and Rhubarb(Piestengel) wines. Since then we have expanded to produce over a dozen varieties of Fruit and Berry wines, including unique wines like Dandelion and Rhubarb, as well as fruit wines, such as Blackberry, Blueberry, and Cranberry. All wines are produced and bottled on the premises, using both local and purchased fruits. We have free samples of our wines during all open hours. We also have an extensive gift shop, featuring collectibles such as Hummel figurines, Precious Moments, Anri and more as well as a wide variety of hand made items by local crafters. Our hours do vary by season, so it is best to call ahead to make sure we are open.
